IBM Helps Finnish Transport Agency Manage Finlands Road Network

Finnish Transport Agency and IBM are working together to improve the road management in Finland. Finnish road users will benefit from a safer and smoother flow of traffic as the goal is to give officials a single view of road and traffic information. This will give officials and operators better intelligence to make smarter traffic management decisions; they are able to recognize potentially dangerous road sections and the road network information will be automatically reported and displayed on a map.
