if you do it manually you can have 2+ different sets of sounds from manually muting it in a certain area(because the program doesn't have the feature to set the thing if you want it mute in a certain area at a certain time) with just part of the song; which means you get more out of that small part.

ive got korg too, and its so freaking hard to get a good sounding song, and knowing its difficulty, you are very talented!
but why were you changing the patterns manually? cant you get it to do it auto in the 'song' section?
