You just got a link on Tvtropes; look forward to many more views.

Hate to admit it but, having never played Mugen, pretty much ALL the vids of gameplay look like this to me. This was a bit louder, though. With more planet-dropping.

For me, It's looks like Omega Red was specially desined to beat Rare Akuma, the way he evades his most cheapest specials.

Kong's characters are more vomit-inducing than crap like kuromaru...

@vman339 Im one of them tourisy:D

B-B-B-B-B-B-BROKEN!

@Izayoiaki24 you're right it isn't good design. any unstoppable character that can be beaten is badly designed. its a good thing kong was around to expose the flaws in akumas design
-
@CrackaStoleMyBoat Oh? We must be talking about people who don't make characters that can do perfects on Rare Akuma, pull off specials while trapped under the moon, and regularly heal back a third of their health.
Rare Akuma is deliberately designed to be unstoppable. Omega Red is not. Omega Red won. THAT IS NOT GOOD DESIGN.

@64MojoMan Yeah, there is something you're missing, I'm afraid. The point of this video is to show how broken Kong's Omega Red (and by extension his other characters) were at the point of this video. All the stuff you see Omega Red doing shouldn't happen. The coding is messed up to the point that this Omega Red cannot be killed. Even a joke character like Rare Akuma which is purposefully broken with tons of one-hit kills cannot beat him. Look very carefully at Omega Red again.

Where is this opening theme from, I reconize it from somewhere...a megaman zero game? And is there anywhere I could download it?
Also: is Akuma actually canceling himself out of his own supers or was it Omega's AI? I can't really tell from all the flashes.

Yeah, it's from Megaman Zero, the first one. It's from the Remastered Tracks and is called "Intermission". You can find that in some Megaman websites, but I believe the easiest find would be at Rockman World (google it).
As for Akuma, no, he's not canceling himself out. Usually whenever he hits his supers, to be blunt, there is NO ESCAPE. It's something with the coding in Omega Red itself that goes along with his Hard AI that's doing it.
