I remember a tube being removed at the end of my surgery. It was removing blood that I swallowed during oral surgery. Forgot about until I watched this some what scary video!

These are the same bastards that in 2000 publicly denied that awareness even existed. They are arrogant jerks with a god complex. NEVER trust one of them. It is more than likely that during an operation, especially a long one, that they will not even be in the room 60% of the time. I work in a hospital. I see it. Some of them work 4 and 5 operations at a time. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

I mean I woke up but then dozed off. Like I was deaf and my eyesight was blurry and i kept hearing laughing and then I saw animals then I fell asleep. But during my sleep I had out of body experiences and I felt like I was god and controlling my body then I was a cell no lie. Dude what if there is god. I'm serious I experienced serious shit!

this is fuckin terrible worst than torture

thak you for scaring the shit out of me

I believe it was a doctor that KILLED Michael Jackson. Don't sound like any of you clowns should be doing anesthesia. If a nurse gonna let me stay awake during surgery and a doctors gonna kill me.

anesthesia awareness happens but they often try to lie about it. Avoid Versed, don't consent to paralytics and make sure that you get an anesthesiologist 1:1 not a CRNA to do your anesthesia. You don't want to have a nurse doing your anesthesia. It's too dangerous. goex is right

continued: I don't drink or smoke or do drugs...The CRNA let the sevo vaporizer run dry and I was as awake as I am now but unable to communicate (LMA in place) adn tied down. I was bruised, soaked in sweat and screaming as soon as they removed the LMA....The anesthesia doc blamed the CRNA (they are only nurses....nurses shouldn;t do anesthesia; but I will say this: the CRNA admitted her screw-up (documented it) while everyone else lied about it..until they got deposed by my lawyer

When I had surgery under "general anesthesia" I was quite awake and aware for most of it and it was a terrible experience. In the RR, they tried to convince me that it didn't happen, then the MD who was "supervising" the CRNA asked me a series of questions, which I got correct, then looked really worried because it was obvious that I was aware. When I related details of their conversations and the gruesome painful details, the CRNA got teary-eyed, the MD screamed at her for ascrewing up.
yeah i'm sorry for what i said, theres no excuse for it and the only attempt i can make would be to say i had a bad week. Theres no way for me to know whether you were telling the truth or not which means i should have never said anything in the first place. sorry again for being a jerk.

thank you for apologizing. please don't make comments to people like that anymore.if you actually are sorry, watch "inside edition" this week as my story will be featured along with the premiere of the movie "awake". tell people you care about to ask for a bis monitor to help with determining their brain activity during any surgery. i'm on youtube's "cnn awareness to awareness" too. (erin)Maybe God did give you a heart. use it for good, not for making people feel worse than they already do.
