Lets see it would be eight years before I would fall in love with this born and tape everything that was about skating after that. I was five when she skated this. Sigh...I wish I had gain the appreciation for a sport I'd never done during this time. It started an amzing 12 years of skating that would go down hill after the SLC games. These days were definitely the best.

I think this year's disappointing performances were the reason she dumped pairs skating after the coming-out part that was 1989. You get that strong feeling from reading biographies about her. Then in 1991, with pairs off her plate, she became World Champion.

kristi is AMAZING...she also competed in the pairs comp. that year!! she she was skating in two sep. events at practically the same time...WOW
