Australias home grown Hollywood superstar has had a busy year with three hit films, and his fourth film to be released next week, The Time Travelers Wife.


As a kid growing up in suburban Melbourne, Eric dreamed of being a race car driver, as he entertained his family and friends with his impersonations of them, and TV personalities. He was discovered performing a stand-up spot in a local pub and became a fave on TVs 'Full Frontal' with his impersonations of Stallone, Schwarzenegger and Tom Cruise, before launching a film career with hit Aussie films like 'The Castle'. His stand-out performance as Chopper Reed got Hollywoods attention and starring roles in Black Hawk Down, The Hulk, Troy, Munich, the blockbuster Star Trek and starred opposite Adam Sandler in the recent hit flick Funny People. followed. Plus he picked up AFI Awards for Best Actor for Chopper and Romulus, My Father. Earlier this year he shared his 25-year-long relationship with his first car, The Beast, and explored the emotional journey from inside the race car to the surreal world of the red carpet in his critically acclaimed film 'Love The Beast. Erics latest film is based on the best-selling book, The Time Travelers Wife, only in cinemas 5th November.
