  • automatic ???

  • @Tomek2581

    Yes

  • Sul on kuskil rõhuleke, 1bar on atmosfäär, seega puhub ainult 0,7bar ülerõhku. Kella järgi peaks olema 2.0-2.2 see näit.

  • @raitsamurai No see video on siin juba päris tükk aega olnud. Siis oli jah väiksed rõhulekked. Nüüd on mootor natuke võimsamaks tehtud. MTM soft stage 1 194kw ja 410 Nm ja ülerõhku on 1.4bar. Küll varsti uued videod panen.

Thank you for cues. This video is 3 years old, it was a major boostleak and the old turbo. Now the engine has been repaired, new turbo and of course the chip installed. MTM. :) Now has 1.4 bar pressure (2.4bar dash). Wastegate is not modified. The car is much faster.

  • sorry for the interruption for the second time, youtube doesn't allow long posts :) so here it goes:

try to check your wastegate, take the whole cap of and look if the screw has been "modified" and furthermore, check for any boost leaks. Mine did the same, when there was a leak. Also same sh*t happens when the ignition system is close to failure (spark plugs misfiring and etc). Keep on posted, the more videos about 2.2 20v, the better it will be :)

  • @ringlol

I do not know how to explain that, but I have seen and driven more than few S4/C4 and S6/C4, they showed on the dash at full throatle 2.1-2.2bar, and dropped after 5000rpms to 1.8-1.9bar. Mine did that as well, and the wastegate wasn't screwed from factory. That's why, I assume our cars must have 0.9-1.2bar of boost :) the automatic S4 did the same with stock ecu :)

  • @flexodon The charge pressure seems correct to me.. 1.7bar on the dash = 0.7bar overboost. And stock overboost on these cars is about 0.8bar. And then stuff like weather can alter the density of the air wich means colder weather = denser air and the turbo won't have too boost as much.

  • automatic or mechanic transmission, the boost must not be lower than 1-1.1 bar (on your dash you must see not less than 2.0bar) :)

  • @DZO seems to be automatic transmission thats why its got less pressure
