I'm afraid you're the idiot. Pak Choi is a Anglification of the Cantonese for white vegetable. Bok Choi is transliterating other Chinese languages.

I couldn't help to laugh but um, that veggie is called Bok Choi, it has white stem and I don't like the taste. Pak Choi is the one with green stem, that one taste more like a green veggie. If your supermarket labels it Bok, then they are idiots. Taste completely different.
