America's pharmaceutical industry makes billions, but its high-risk and low-success rate process of research and development also costs billions. Companies argue that profits should fund research and innovation. Others counter that profits would be better spent on aid to developing countries in the form of essential drugs at lower prices. Where do corporations, specifically drug companies, responsibilities lie? Do such companies have a responsibility to improve access to essential drugs for citizens of the developing world? If so, to what extent? If not, how can that stance be justified morally and/or economically?
Featuring Dr. Marcia Angell and Dr. Mary Ruwart.

PHArmaceutical companies are the creation of evils. They just think abt profits rather than people's healt, they use human beings in poor countries as well to test their drugs. To their managers, May God bury you and your family alive with your money. AMEN.
