With regard to Lou Reed, I like some of what he did with VU but a lot of his solo work is overhyped because of who he is. His recent performance on "Later" was dismal.

I always thought it strange that such an amazing album went straight to the bargain bins when it was first released. I've loved it since it was first released and it is still in my top ten albums of all time. If you find it hard to listen to then go back to X-Factor and manufactured pop music. Popular isn't necessarily good, and good isn't necessarily popular.

Nico's album "'The Marble Index" is one of my all-time favorite albums. I consider it a classic. Every song is great, though deep and beautiful. I love it. I can't understand why some people say it is hard to listen to. The legend and her music will live on.
