CAN Act Now 3

On Saturday, April 18, a local community group called Community Acting Now (CAN), in Roselle, NJ raised awareness of Darfur by inviting the public to come and view the video Darfur: A Call to Action. These sessions were held at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm. After each viewing each group discussed the situation in Darfur, what they learned and ideas on how they could now be the voice of Darfur. Each session completed a postcard campaign resulting in over 100 postcards and everyone left with their own Personal Action Plan for Darfur. A = Ask God, Leaders, Politicians for intervention, C = Contribute your voice, time and money, T = Tell everyone you know, host a session, email, websites, social networks and remember N = Not O = On our W = Watch. Each session was concluded
by the participants chanting: SAVE DARFUR! I care! I can! I will! I must! ACT NOW!!
