FICM is a rebuildable part. Inverter on the early version or the amplifier on the new ones. It's the Eco-friendly lead free solder the cracks.
-
They have cracked the EGR firmware in these trucks now.
-
1) FLASH performance firmware
2) tweak performance firmware and experiment with new extreme settings
3) problem(s)
4) FLASH OEM firmware template and vehicle history
5) warranty my 6.7 please

@Aonexia I always thought GM was the most popular in Australia. I'm a Ram fan myself, glad to hear there's like minded people all the way over there as well.
-
I'm Australian and we call those Ford's Foreign Oil Robin Diesels. We like the RAM better, because it is simpler and reliably strong iron-block with loads of power in each band mate! Sorry about your Ford engine. Too many moving parts and made from aluminum... not a long term reliability rig in my book mate!

so much for all the research engineers and testing into the 6,7 and ford going away from international there shit isnt any better
i work at a ford dealership and we have 2 of those 6.7 in the shop right now with the exact same damage to the valves, we have another one on the lot waiting to be looked at but i'm pretty sure this is gonna be the cause.
