Another part of the documentary my dad (Ben Cutshall) shot in Vietnam in the late 80's.

This part deals specifically with the motivation of the vets returning to Vietnam after many years.

  • @AccordGTR everyone ignore AccordGTR, this loser goes to almost every youtube vietnam war channel and cries how evil we americans are. He's a attention seeking whore that say outrageous shit knowing he'll get a angry response.

  • @AccordGTR Other countries have done worst atrocities than America. America isn't innocent of crimes but neither is every other country in this world. We are all humans capable of the same hateful emotions and acts of violence toward each other. Don't try and single America out.

  • @soxbearshwks I totaly understand the feeling, sir. I feel the exact same way about Afghanistan.

  • i mean no disrespect to any vet that feels they have to go back for whatever reason, but i personally would never go back to that shithole country....

  • @briandrum1 Ali wasn't the only one who dodged the draft and got away with it. A lot of people did. Ali's reason was cuz he "has no quarrel with those Vietnamese". I can think of ways where it would be justified to kill people you never met or know but what Americans have done in Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan is deplorable, shameful and criminal. I didn't think that way at first but having an open mind and studying the facts, I have changed my mind about it

  • @briandrum1 Listen to yourself for a minute then watch the video again. American SOLDIERS are not welcome if but UNARMED Americans are welcome to come if they respect people ( in any foreign country actually ). You're the closed minded negative person if I ever met one. It's not about "following orders". It's about following what your heart says and if your heart tells you those people are evil and need to be shot and napalmed, well, we know now you don't deserve any respect.

  • @AccordGTR One more thing. Your "case in point", is the far from a case in point. Comparing Muhammad Ali dodging the draft to an average American citizen dodging the draft is simply stupid.

  • @AccordGTR Defeat? Who was defeated here? Semantics is what you're trying to use to make yourself feel like you "won". At the end of the day, American soldiers did what they were told, wether they wanted to be there or not. You can go ahead and keep disrespecting them if you want, but if you do, you may want to change what you have written in your "about me" section on your channel. You're an open minded positive human being? You couldn't be the furthest thing from that.

  • @briandrum1 haha yeah sure. you just don't know when to admit defeat, do you? You didn't say ALL of them but you didn't say SOME of them either. But since MOST of them were not drafted, you suck! Oh not all who dodged the draft go to prison. Case in point - Muhammad Ali. He even got an award from George Bush! Fact is, you still have a choice. Fyi I'm a lot more "educated" than you are. LOL

  • @AccordGTR Whoa-whoa-whoa...So you go to a website and copy and paste something I already knew as fact, and you're some kind of hero in your own eyes? Do you not know what you wrote and what I wrote. Did you ask why soldiers joined the army? Yes. Did I say ALL OF THEM were drafted? No. Get a fucking clue You can throw stats out all you want, but the FACT is, not all of the soldiers that fought in Vietnam volunteered. Get it now? I hate using this, but in this case...PWNED!
