I'm glad I didn't read the book first, otherwise I might have been jaded and bitter like so many that posted comments about how this series was nothing like the book. I just sat back and enjoyed the show as it was, and not how it should have been :)))

well aaron its up to you... you can maybe become a vampire and fall in love in mortal. have a brother, and in the end again save the world.... but thats just me. :D :D

@SarahWhitman I'm not entirely finished reading the series but, yes, the books are quite different! In many (many) ways, the books are better; you should read them. ...We can thank the tv movie, however, for Paul Wesley :)

I'm really pleased to rewatch this movie series, although I do agree that seeing Aaron's parents and brother's reactions would have been nice, and seeing the happy ending of ALL of them together (girlfriend included). Is the movie very drastically different from the book series? I may have to read that one day....And I wonder...does Aaron have to get his GED now? haha.
