-
sick!
-
looks funny, and i bet the local chippy is missing part of its flew, no chance that will sound good, its not possible, box needs to be more solid, 1 poss 2mm steel wont do it, it will sound like a walkman in a baked been can which it also looks like.

Hahaha thats awesome!
But maybe you were hitting the harmonic frequency of the wall instead of the boxes?
-

I'm just about to install a 13w 7 into a sealed box and was wondering if you can give me any advice about tuning and how low should the box be tuned at.Not interested in db's just SQ,Thanks.

@jeffy123ification Go with a sealed box if you whant SQ, but i recommend you to have a variable bass boost(maby +5-10dB@20-30hz), just like JL:s slash amps have, in that way you can compensate the lower output in the lowest frequencys.
if you want more output you have to go with vented box but the size will be a problem if you want if to go deep enough to go SQ.

wow thats a crazy looking enclosure you got there... is the end of tube opening just like that or is it gonna be tuned ?
StrobeLite 1 year ago
@StrobeLite the end is going to be like that, is´s tuned to around 35 hz and it´s the lenght of the pipe that makes the tuning
