HPI Savage Safety Engine Stop

i just got this safety engine stop (it was a mission to put on! because i had to take the wheel off, tank guard, tank out etc just to put this thing in!) but its brilliant. this is just a short video done my by just me so its a bit shaky etc lol if you look closely, you can see how it works too. - savage hpi x 4.1 4.6 safety engine stop tank guard wheels tyres

Just dropped new sts30 engine into one of my savages lastnight built back up then noticed it has'nt got room to get the roto start into the engine cause the fitment on the engine sits lower than the old engine so have ground down the centre of the panel to the metal to be able to access its slot at an angle. Got it fired up for few seconds then it kept cutting out, seems to be the air pipe from the exhaust is'nt blowing enough presure cause once i remove it an blow down it it keeps running ???

what exhaust are you using? there could be a blockage in there some where, but the air pipe from the exhaust shouldnt make too much difference, not too sure. try blowing in to your exhaust, it might have a blockage.

I have just bought 2 of these the other week but still to fit them so looking forward to it... But need to get my trucks up and running that i bought over the past few months but having problems............:-(((

i know what it does you can do it your sef just need a spring some plastic,medal ect. then you ned to build when you pish the button that stops the flywheel.....TADA!

lol i have to give mine gas too alway even after a nice tune up always have to give it gas from radio lol... that is a good way i just shut the gas shut off first then let the gas in the lines burn off lol
