I have to say for the amount of money you pay for a stupid mac brush, you should not have to add nail polish to keep the paint on.

Secondly, I have heard from other you tube videos that this in fact will chip and when the clear polish comes off, it will take the mac logo and numbers with it.

MAC brushes are actually quite affordable compared to those that have blue squirrel hair. Now those are expensive...

zzzz i saw this same tip so many times. n i, stupid enough went to do it for my 226 brush. and the freaking polish came off! like after a few uses (maybe 5???) and it took the paint and the writing off with it!!! OMFG! soooo pissed!!!!! i can't even get another brush cuz the 226 is a limited ed!! I HATE THIS METHOD! DO NOT TRY THIS METHOD! IT FREAKING SUCKS!

And I'd rather spend alot of money on good quality brushes that long for a while.

Yes my point exactly we all use our brushes EVERY DAY, and no you dont really hold the end of the brush. This advice was actually given to me from Enkore too. But this is a good video im just giving my in put on it. I love pinkmacpriness im subscriibed to her actually :D. SO all the nonsense going on here is you insulting me and i dont appreciate your hostility over a comment online. Get out more.

Nail polish doesn't last long on fingers because the hands and feet are constantly being moved around and pushed onto things, causing the nail polish to also come off.

The nail polish will stay on the brush because you use it for maybe 2 minutes at a time and you aren't even touching the spot where you put the nail polish, you are holding it at the end. So I don't recommend that YOU write nonsense on a good video without knowing what you are talking about and thinking it through :D

this actually wont work at all. Nail polish runs for what a week? So after a week the nail polish with break making the WHOLE logo come of, trust me it happened to me too. I really dont recommend anyone try this.
