its not the same as windows 7 though. biggest problem is not that they removed start menu. biggest problem is that they removed start menu and DIDNT give us an option to have it there. wheres customization? wheres smoothness? wheres functionality? they took all of those things and wiped their ass with it, and gave us metro. metro...it works on tablet...thats it. metro for tablet, desktop for desktop please. windows 8 as it is right now, is garbage

If the trackpad gesture support works well for either Asus Zenbook prime or Samsung Series 9 2012 ultrabooks, I'll NOT buy a Macbook Air. IF they don't have those nice gestures, I'm switching to Mac OSX. Just tried out the gesture on OSX in Best Buy, and fell in love with how seamless the gesture handles the OS. But I don't really want to support Apple cause of the samsung apple trial stuff.
