@ask1962 Thanks for the comment! You picked a hell of a song to start with...but I found that half the battle is keeping motivated and this one should certainly spur you on. I haven't posted any vids for a while as I am currently recording some stuff...any other Rory songs or riffs you'd like to learn? How about Launrdomat, Secret Agent or Continental Op? Just bought a Strat and a Hiwatt practise amp and now I am playing my favorite Rory Gallagher song “Messin' with the Kid”! Thanks Russ for this very fine lesson. Regards from a guitar novice.

@KiddGluvs I play a few Rory songs myself, i was actually at a tribute show to Rory down in one of the local pubs last night and it sorta inspired me to try and learn some more. The band were Sinnerboy, think they're English you might of heard of them.
