Do you have the colour on the video? i only found the black one on your store, so that was the one i bought, but actually i rather have that lighter coloured one, because that's actually my car's original colour since it's the "Previlége" edition.

does the same technique apply to the Renault scenic II?
-
Don't you have to unscrew or disconnect anything? Is is just like you did in that film? Pull up and a bit of wiggle?

Hi, The gear knob in a 2001 Clio is just pushed on the gear lever. There are no any mechanical fasteners or glue. All you have to do is pull it up hardly by hand without rotating. It will come off then. Thanks

Hi mate,
It's very similar job to do. The gear knob is just pushed on the gear lever. All you have to do is pull it up hardly by hand without rotating. It will come off then. Sometimes some force is needed but that's the only way to do it really. I hope that helped. Cheers, Greg

Hi mate :) There are the instructions for a 106:
If your gear knob is an all in one with rubber gaitor then at the bottom of the gaitor to the back lift up the edge in the middle and there is a little torx screw, remove this and wiggle the gaitor free.
Once this is undone the gear knob can be twisted, give it a wiggle round, then turn from straight ahead, 12 o'clock position, to approximately 2 o'clock and pull hard, the knob is then free to come off.
