Here's a video of the SNES emulator in TwinBee Portable for the PSP running a SNES "Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose" ROM file. There is some slight graphical corruption and no sound, but it's perfectly playable!

The game can be purchased from Play-Asia:

  • Its japanese?

  • Yes, this game was only released in Japan and Korea.

  • How in the FUCK did you do that?????

  • TwinBee Portable actually uses a standard SMC format ROM image of the SNES game Pop 'n TwinBee, split into four parts.

The Buster Busts Loose ROM is the same size as Pop 'n TwinBee, so I simply split in into four parts using a hex editor, then replaced the files in the UMD ISO image.

The altered ISO image was then loaded using DA's custom firmware.

This seems to work for *some* games, but not others. I have not tried any ROMs of a different size.

  • hey where can you dl the game twin bee excliusively on psp only? THAnKS!

  • all you need to do is: set your psp to english language setting and it'll work fine. any other setting will cause the game to crash ;)

  • lol

  • cool

  • Apologies, I wasn't entirely clear on what you were trying to do!

Try recreating the ISO image using UMDGen V4.00 to ensure you have a valid image, and then retry.

Failing that, I'd recommend buying the original game if you've not already done so. It's freely available on eBay: I got mine from a seller in Hong Kong.

  • At which particular start screen does it crash? And which game ROM file are you trying to use?
