weird ending- why does she go up?! Her lower voice is better than the top. Well... she's LOUD, but I wouldn't exactly call it effortless... or in tune.

well, i think her diction lacks. but the voice and the mimics are very ok. she indeed does have a spinto voice, that is very suitable for this aria. i think she also pronounces the consonants L, V and T too much, it doesn't flip over her lips, but she actually pushes them... all in one: i would not be very disappointed sitting in the public.

I don't know much about opera, but I think she does a lot of face gestures, that other singers can avoid. (strenght gestures)

I agree

Actually, she started to sing this as if it were a march. Her manirs are not at all accaptable. Later on her voice fails to impress, for she has a soft tone, much better suited to less dramatic pieces. For this she lacks the force.
But claps for bravery...
I don't like her voice. Alto then suddenly low... a pianoforte. Not my taste, for sure.

When Georgina Luckacs sang as Tosca in my native Baltimore, I sat in the balcony at the Lyric Opera House. She was a vulnerable Tosca, but got blown out of the water by the Italian thunder that was Antonello Palombi (AKA the tenor that saved Roberto Alagna after that whole Aida fiasco at La Scala). As Maddalena she was a little rushed in the beginning, but she was able to catch up in the middle and make a graceful ending. I hope to hear more from her.
