Poltergeist (Shot in 1986)

This was shot in Shelby, Alabama.

This is the second footage we got of poltergeist. The family that lived there saw things move and heard knocking when they were in the basement.

This footage has bad quality because our other camera was broken.

How can we think it's not real when we set up the cameras and taped 24/7, and when we looked through the tape and we find this, how can we say it's not real then?

Video tape doesn't have aging film line artifacts.

This is obviously filtered with WMM's "vintage" plugin.

Second, there is no way that any audio recorded in 1986 onto analog video tape sounds this clear. Audio from the available video camera mics (mono) back then was usually incredibly "hissy". In fact, I recently restored a bunch of my dad's old videotapes from the 80's and 90's and there was so much "hiss" I really had a hard time making it sound good. Nice try but FAKE!

I totally agree with myrkeyjones on this one.. filter program editing program.. also big mistake too there...the sound is too good for 1986 basic camera..even I as an amatuer picked that right up that this video is a total fake..as for the grainy editing...obvisously faked ...kudos to myrkeyjones for picking this one out!!

bad excuse for a bad camera... these effects can be done in WMM. You just didn't shoot it right, so you're passing it off with effects as it was "shot in 86". 1*

This has obviously been put through some kind of grain filter in After affects or Windows movie editor. And Im amazed that they had such expensive equipment as a DAT recorder to record sound:) film camera's don't have a mic out people, and DAT recorders did cost a ton of money back then. Obviously a fake. Having said that though, I do believe in poltergeists and Hauntings, Ive had some experiences of my own, but i don't believe them to be deseased people, just demons.
