@GasMaskBoi It's about the music...not punching each other in the face and stepping on heads. I never understood that part of punk music. Your definition of punk seems to come from the media and stupid stoner kids.

Those of us who discovered punk in the late 70s were very used to uncomprehending crowds like that. When we were being blown away by something totally new and radical, most of our peers were staring there blankly; blankly at best, if not angrily at having their comfort zones threatened.

@Ambrosious128d Right; I was referring to the musical aspect of the energy.
-
@SLAPnPOP726 "Punk Energy" existed in Amerika in the 60's with the riots and bad attitudes it just wasn't articulated into a music untill the mid 70's.
-
The reason they weren't moving was because punk's energy (at least the on the fan's part) didn't exist yet in America. It's also because they weren't used to songs that used such harsh tongue and cheek lyrics about socio-political subjects such as the ones addressed in this song.

you know this is an early early DK video when 6025 is in and Jello messes up the first chorus on one of there most popular songs. added a few more kills or maybe he was just emphasizing the killing in hopes that the crowd would react...
-
i wanna squash those *unts in the crowd for not bowing down and getting off on the mastery!!!
