this is still one of my favourite songs.
you should play this LOUD.
the percussion has a sort of train rythm.
we did a cover of this song in a completely
different arrangement, a slow version of it. i used the same film here. i made the film and typed the lyrics into.

Peter, wanneer is dit nummer opgenomen? Eind jaren 70.

Beide heren hebben een stel mooie platen gemaakt toen ze niet samen waren. Sunset Towers heb ik destijds grijs gedraaid en is nog steeds een van mijn favoriete Everly albums.

dit nummer is van de eerste lp van don, genaamd "don everly", toen stonden de broers net voor hun split up, dus ik schat 1972/73 ongeveer. deze lp van don scheen phil hem wat kwalijk tenemen, in die zin dat don op eifen houtje solo ging, terwijl ze nog samen waren. groet, peter

Such a pretty song. I think you are misinterpreting it though. He is singing about his child, not a woman. I like it anyway.
