http://www.504Experts.com/welcome "THE CRISIS ON MAIN STREET: How Washington Continues to Ignore Small Businesses" is a rallying cry for Small Businesses and Entrepreneurs everywhere.
When the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) was enacted by Congress in February of 2009, a mere 0.899% of the funds were directed toward helping Small Businesses. Despite the fact that the Small Business sector employs over 50% of the American population, Big Business and Wall Street got most of the attention from our government during the "Great Recession" (and continues to do so).
This is just one example of how Washington has ignored the interests of Small Businesses and Entrepreneurs.
Mercantile Capital Corporation is a nationwide commercial lender that specializes in providing SBA 504 loans for owners of small and mid-sized businesses. THE CRISIS ON MAIN STREET was written and narrated by Mercantile's CEO/Cofounder, Chris Hurn -- a serial entrepreneur and outspoken Small Business Advocate -- to give Small Businesses and Entrepreneurs a common voice.
We are asking that voters who are in favor of job creation make their presence widely known during the mid-term elections. Ask your candidates to expressly state their opinion on small business lending reform, and only vote for those who will loosen the restrictive reins that are hampering job creation in our country. Candidates who do not list small business job creation as a key part of their platform do not deserve your support.
@VideoGameCoupons Thanks for doing that. Sadly, this video is still relevant almost two years later.

Interesting post. I have made a twitter post about this. Others no doubt will like it like I did.

Thanks for all the great comments, folks. I hadn't checked these in a while, so I'm a little behind. My apologies. Anyway, take care and keep fighting (with me) for small businesses and entrepreneurs all over who'll become the Big Businesses of tomorrow!

Chris, what type of editing software did you use to create this video. Looks great!

Erm...everything? I'm appalled you think he speaks anything remotely truthful. He's ultrapartisan and spins absolutely everything his way, and doesn't report news in any sense of the word. His quotes are misrepresented or out of context, as are his figures and "facts" (like the death councils in Obamas health plan. In case you're retarded, they don't exist.)

While small business loans continue to be one of the best investments government has made over the years, with strong, measurable returns, there is much more that can be done at little cost.
Small business will receive the greatest benefits from modifications in regulations, taxes, streamlining interaction with the government, and supporting the rule of law. Over the last few decades, government has failed to recognize the true needs of small business. It's time to turn that around.

@HGSpaceTime Thanks for admitting that. That wasn't necessary, but it was appreciated.
