@lti12 well...... you hope for the best! Keep an eye and..... jets normally do not fly that low in that area, they are much much higher!

@WonderBoyyyyy planes fly fast and not always visible, I'm thinking maybe the ATC
has you on radar and can inform the jet pilot about it.
But anyway I never flown at Chelan before, Do you have a 360 degrees takes off
direction at the butte? Or is it only to the Southwest or North takeoff?

@lti12 The jets fly much higher then us in that area. Small plane traffic is out there. VFR apply. It a non issue out there, but you always keep an eye out.

This flight paraglidingforum (dot)com/leonardo/flight/226308 was the lowest save I had out there. I was a few hunded off the deck, unzippped and setting up to land.
A few hawks joined in foe a few.
