Part 1 - Guru Ganesh Paran

Here is a one hour tabla solo by the great Pandit Sadanand Naimpalli. He is a disciple of Pandit Taranath Rao. Pandit Rao trained many great tabla players, including Ravi Bellari, Shashi Bellari, Omkar Gulwadi, and Yogesh Samsi.

A superb accompanist who has accompanied virtually all the big names in Hindusthani music, Pandit Naimpalli has an extensive tabla solo repertoire, as he demonstrates in these clips.

He has also written 2 instructional books on tabla and an accompanying DVD.
