I just had to make a tribute to these two great actors, whose work both individually and together ignited the 50s and gave teenagers of that era someone to identify with. Although it is widely known that they costarred in "Rebel Without A Cause" (1955), they also appeared together in a television program, General Electric Theatre, in the production "I Am A Fool" in 1954. Natalie was intrigued by Jimmy, who possessed a seriousness about his craft that she found herself emulating. They became close during production of Rebel and she later consoled him over the loss of his former girlfriend and great love, Pier Angeli who was marrying another. Natalie later credited Dean, director Nicholas Ray and others involved in Rebel for giving her the inspiration to be serious and dedicated to the art that she had been pushed into as child. Dean's death on September 30, 1955 devastated Natalie and she kept a small bust of his likeness for years. While their friendship was brief, it was a important one and they certainly had a great connection onscreen. So I hope you like this, I'm very happy with the result. Music by Elton John.

  • Wow! Another very well done montage; this time, to two of my all-time favorite actors. Natalie and James, had such charisma that ignited the screen and James Dean is one of the icons that shaped my early life. Once again, you've proven your amazing talents, Darling! BTW, what Elton John song is that? Thanks again, I love your pieces!

  • Thanks! The song is "Friends Never Say Goodbye". Glad you liked it!

  • Adore this!!!! Two of my absolute faves!! I always thought/wished the two of them would have became an item had he lived. If he had, whether they ever got together or not, somehow I think Natalie would still be alive as well. Such a loss to Hollywood and the world

  • beautiful video, love you james and natalie!!!!!!!!!!!

  • both died young. so sad :(

  • Beautiful enjoyed this very much, unforgetable..

  • They were 16 and 24 when they played lovers in Rebel Without a Cause. That would not be allowed today

  • Excellent tribute to Natalie Wood and James Dean!

  • Sum how Natalie Wood mysteriously fell off her boat and drowned.
