Always liked the way the wipers would flip asymmetrically, unlike other double-deckers where they're synched; they'd hiss and carry on entertainingly. it's even the case on the mark II where the windscreen panels are of equal depth.
I came down on this bus's X51 journey, but was on 2903 for the trip back. Definitely went like a rocket, both of them! Great video.

I kind of miss these old buses. Used to be on the 369 route all the time, didn't realise they had taken them all off though.
