This video was shot on a freezing day on the Tor, as part of a special event organised by Glastonbury T-Shirts.
You can just see some of the spiralling-light-Windmills, placed in the ground for this occasion. Shirts were handed out and they looked impressive with their battery operated glowing colours, of Rainbows, etc.

The video starts inside St. Michael's tower with a lady singing about the power of the Tor and its "Dragon lines". Michaela and Sally, with friend, drum & chant to the accompanied by a Didgeridoo; it all added a good atmosphere to the proceedings.
Sally & friend then dance to drumming from the tower with dog getting in the way ;)
In this video you can see my good friends Paul of Glastonbury T-shirts, and Brian Viziondanz, with long beard and holding a video camera. Brian has a YouTube channel which you can view from my friends list.
For the first time, I shot this in what I thought was 16:9 aspect, which proved to be not so 16:9 but rather 12:5!. Therefore it has ended up looking like a small box in a larger one :(
It is still possible to see this full-size by clicking the button below the video.

  • it wa so cold that day, i went down the wong side of the tor at night and got completely lost in the back roads, freezing and exhausted, i tried to flag down a car for help, but he/she just accelerated, i guess i must have scared him/her - oh well i finally got back to my car

    :)

  • Hi Brian. It was damn cold that day, and I admire you for staying on the Tor after dark! Bad luck on getting lost, not very nice to drive past you like that. The driver shall reap the just rewards for being nasty to you.

You've probably noticed that I won't be using the Wide-screen function on this camcorder again!! :O)

    Thanks for the note. Mike.

  • This video is amazing! danced in the tor in 1983 takes me right back.

  • Thanks! Pity about the small screen, but I can't do anything about that :(

    Mike.

  • Yep, a happy occasion and even the dog liked it :)

    Thanks!

    Mike.

  • Hi Toads. It's not the Sally from your video. Your Sally is Sally Hawkins an actress, and she won a Golden Globe award yesterday (Monday 12th Jan) in Los Angeles, for her latest film "Happy-Go-Lucky"

I'll send you a link to Sally's website, though if you type her name into Google you'll get results, like her Website, she has a MySpace too.

    Mike.
