(Part two)
"small animal" shampoo designed for bunnies, guinea pigs, rats, mice, hamsters etc is the best option. If you cant find that - you can use the shampoos that are designed for puppies and kittens - as they are a lot more dialuted than the adult dog/cat shampoo. the main thing though - is to NEVER use human grade shampoo on them - its too powerful for their skin.
Bath them in the human bath. have the water very shallow- only enough to cover them halfway when they are standing up.

Sure thing!
(Part 1)
Water temp:
-luke warm water is perfectly fine. dont have it too hot, because they have higher body temperatures than us - and also dont have it stone cold, or you'll risk them getting sick.
Soap: dont use any human soap on them.

luke warm water is fine. dont make it too hot, or too cold, as they chill easily. :)

It's crazy how they just stay there...i bath mine in the sink..so far on sits there and lets me bath it but my other baby still makes every attempt to get out. I cant wait until they relax in the bath.

Tee-hee, yes, my boys Tate and Tal were quite calm in the bath. I no longer have them anymore, sadly. It helps if you fill the bath up high enough to let them sit upright and swim without drowning. once they realise that they arent going to drown, they settle down quickly.
I have 4 female rats now - and they are all hyper active in the bath, and prefer to run around on the bench and clean themselves! :P
