  • i am an ameteur @ the bass...i seem to have a difficult time using the bow, do you have any tips for me? i practice everyday....but i dont see any improvement....and in my class, im only supposed to pluck it....itll be great if you can help me out, please?...and my church wants me to play in our orchestra that is barely starting...kinda nervous

  • @indiss7 There is no one set bow grip, basically should be firm but not tight, there shouldn't be too loose or with tension, and bow grip changes depending on how you hold the instrument and what you do. I might eventually post some tutorial videos on these topics. Wish you good luck.
