@outerheadorder I am saddened by the lack of knowledge along with your hatred. There is a mass of letters from the NFS, and articles worldwide that tell the truth about us 'hippies' in the woods. Above and beyond the Gmen propaganda about Gatherings, these letters and articles tell how Forests are better, cleaner, to the point you can not tell that anyone was there. Also, we have worked with NFS to plant, groom, and restore after the 'mainstream' destoys an area. Peace be upon you! WAKE UP!!

I camped right next to Jerusalem - this was probably 25 ft. from my tent.
They sang & chanted all day and night... and it was beautiful. :)

Send your comments to President Bush, as he is the one who has decided to selectively obey the laws he likes and disobey those that don't suit him & his friends.
Rather than fight a basically harmless gathering the LEOs should work with the Gathering's Shanti people to assist in maintaing order.
They could also assist in returning the forest to its natural state.
Whatever damage is done to nature by the gathering is insignificant to the damage being done by industry just around the corner.

"Industry just around the corner" has nothing to do with this. 2 wrongs don't make a right. And you admit that damage is done to nature by the gathering. you hippies are no better than "industry just around the corner" TREAD LIGHTLY. to minimize your impact on earth gather in groups smaller than 10. HIPPIES ARE KILLING THE EARTH. how many hippies drove cross nation in SUVs to this years gathering?

I believe you exaggerate the damage to the wilderness environment done by hippies. It is very unlikely that the Hippies are killing the earth. It may well be that hippies learn from the gatherings to be more respectful of the earth.
