Haha I blocked one of my middle school students yesterday just like this, except the rim was 9'4 and I am 5'8.

@cubsfan4life33 To be honest, I think grabbing and it pulling it down is WAY more embarrassing for the opposing player, showing how weak the attempt really was. Plus, like you said it keeps the ball in play.
