@bec4hockey It's not lip synched. The singing is dubbed, so the actors actually sang in the scene for real. By the way, the guy who plays Ice dubbed Riff's part here because Russ Tamblyn didn't sing this part well enough to the composer, Leonard Bernstein, but Russ did sing the Gee Officer Krupke song. Amber Tamblyn must be so proud of her dad.
