@cb2k761 One sales job for one day hardly qualifies you for understanding the profession, or for making such an asinine statement. Nothing in the world happens until a sale is made. At some point, your father sold your mama on taking him as a mate. You were born as a result. Sounds like a crap job with a crap company. Work for a real company, and you'll find that it's about caring for people, serving them, and when they choose you to do business with, the sale is made. Thats it.

Sales is the shittiest profession ever, why people are in that occupation i dont know why but more power to them. I worked for a sales company in indiana that I thought that was legit, the first day on my own attempting to sell office equipment like ink, paper, toner etc etc 4 businesses told me "I told your company not to come around here anymore, either leave or I will call the cops" i stopped my script and just left.
