I do think some uyghurs are turknized tajiks. I find uyghur dance is clearly influenced by tajik dance. Even some uyghurs also agree (sometimes go extremes to reach a gross generalization) that uyghurs are turknized iranians. But the fact is uyghur is a very diversed race. Uyghurs of different places have different heritages. The language and religion link them together.
