Graham "Sandy" Salisbury and I wrote this song together in 1968. Sandy, more than anyone I know, embodies "Sunshine Pop". He grew up barefoot in Hawaii, and radiates gentle warmth and upbeat sincerity. No one who knows Sandy would disagree, and his music, with the Millennium and on solo recordings, only bears this out.
