I like your rings on your fingers, I have started lap (Weiseenborn) just recently and from now on I'll be wearing the same rings as you do...!!!

Pretty good sounding tuning!
-
Very nicely done.
I used to have a lap guitar as a kid. I remember the tuning on mine as 5th, 7th, 5th, 4th, 3rd frets for the 5th through 1st strings respectively. The 6th string was as deep as I can get without distortion.
What kind of tuning would that be?
-
According to weiner 71 and he's right, the tuning is open Csus2 (variant of classic open C) :
CGCGCD low to high
-
yes it should be, but he drops the high e down to a d. I got this video and it is great.
-
yes exactly from low to high
-
shouldnt open c be cgcgce?
-
yeah mate you can use any tuning on any guitar as long as each string is not so loose that it buzzes or so tight that it bends the neck or breaks the stings. it all comes down to the scale length of the guitar and the guage of the strings. c tuning shouldnt be a drama on any guitar.

just keep at it pal
What kind of Weissenborn is it? What is the string tuning?
Really nice playing.
