  • In those days, the Belgian league was one of Europe's better leagues. Clubs as Anderlecht, Club Bruges and KV Mechelen regularly made it to the finals or even won cups in Europe, and the national team made it to the semis in 1986 and to the final in 1980. So, when you're saying they were nothing, you know shit about football history. And later, when they turned to being "nothing", as you like to call it, they still kicked your Russian asses (remember 2002 ;)

  • referee on their side.. haha.. that is what they say in russia cause they couldnt handle a little team had defeated them. And this wasnt the only time.. Also in 2002 Belgium defeated russia.

    Cry me a river

  • Wow this is ancient

  • Sin lugar a dudas es el mejor partido del Mundial de 1986, Jean Marie Pfaff, Eric Gerets, Enyo Scifo, Jan Ceulemans De Mol la gran generación de jugadores de Bélgica, muy bien también Rusia.

  • @lehmanngrossbahn A giant team in 1986, yes, but I think the 1990 team, with Scifo, Ceulemans, Preud'homme and co was even better. Eliminated by England (1-0 at 119th minute) after having dominated the whole match........

  • Je me souviendrai de ce match toute ma vie !

Quand on a vécu ça en direct, on sait ce que c'est que la tension pendant une rencontre...

    Wow !

  • Jean Marie Pfaff, Eric Gerets, Enyo Scifo, Jan Ceulemans....the best Belgian team of all times....

  • @WalterTCale I´m a great fan of Georges Grun, the best defender and sweeper, his mythical number 13 is mine too. I´m mexican and never forget who they were, in facts I wish to have the red jersey. So if you have something about him please upload it! Most if the new people should know how great he was.

  • Belanov RULES ))

  • @cbriggs90 this was a really nice game to watch for football fans, both teams kept on attacking.not like nowdays.russian team was superb offensive game but awfully defending.belanov just brilliant
