Demi Lovato-Jonas smiled as her family chatted and exchanged presents underneath the tree.
Her sister, Amelia, was on the couch with Emma, Demis daughter.

Amelia! Wait up! You know I cant run that fast! Demi stopped and gasped for breath. I thought a ten year old would know that Santa isnt real.
She caught up with her little sister as they stood in the back of the very long line for Santa Claus. Amelia, are you sure you want to do this? Wouldnt you rather go shopping in Justice or something?

Demi rolled her eyes and dug her cell phone out of her pocket. She dialed her best friends number and waited patiently for her to pick up.

As Amelia ran to the smiling Santa, Demi raised her eyebrow. She was no Santa believer, but this Santa did not look the part. He was thin and young, with an obvious fake beard.

Demi cracked a smile as Amelia introduced herself and sat on his lap. Maybe she wasnt the only lunatic here.
