I now have the tool, haven't tried it yet b/c I'm wondering how to make adjustments when making a small item like a pot holder. (The pot holder isn't big enough to leave a 12" opening. :-) Any suggestions? Thanks.

This would probably be the wrong tool for a pot holder size, Sue Brown is working on a mini version of this for a thinner binding which we'll have in a few weeks, but without the 12" opening, this tool isn't able to work it magic :)

I haven't tried the tool with a 2.25" binding. Could you try it out on a scrap edge first? I think the angles/cuts may still work correctly.

If you have a wider binding, you can extend your mark out as necessary following the same angles.

This doesn't seem to work with other widths of binding. Is there an adaptation? Tks

I do not quilt but I still love watching Susan. I learn a lot that I can use in sewing. Everyone I know is getting pillow cases for Christmas.

I bought one at the quilt show. I'm trying to use it today. I didn't realize the binding had to be 2.5 inches wide. I did the first cut, then changed my mind cause I thought it wouldn't work on 2.25 inch binding. I always use 2.25. 2.5 is too loose for my taste. Am I correct on this?
