Tim Berry's video for Venus Bogardus' Jacques Rigaut 7" vinyl single, released on Patchogue Records.
Featuring the earlier line-up of the band including Annie Gardiner on drums, the film was shot on an old Super-8mm bolex, paying homage to the 1920s Dada poet of the title and the surrealist film-makers Réné Clair, Man Ray, Marcel Duchamp and Jean-Marie Drot, who Rigaut was largely associated with up until his suicide in 1929.
The Rigaut single was pressed as a limited edition (500) on heavy-grade vinyl with screen-printed sleeves featuring back cover art contributed by Stanley Donwood. The vinyl version is available from www.patchoguerecords.com and a digital download (different track listing) is available from iTunes.
