The University of Scranton's Weinberg Memorial Library hosted an international traveling exhibit about Helen Suzman, one of South Africa's most vociferous and energetic opponents of apartheid. The "Helen Suzman: Fighter for Human Rights" exhibit was on display in the Heritage Room from Aug. 31 to Oct. 25. During a Sept. 15 reception, George Washington University Assistant Professor of Sociology Fran Buntman, Ph.D., lectured, discussing Suzman and apartheid.
