Please read description. This video is all about the eagerly anticipated Beyoncé album that's supposed to be released in the next few months. We have no official dates neither for the single nor for the album, but she talked about it in three interviews and we know the names of the producers reported or rumored to be involved into the making of the album since she allegedly started recording it in early September 2010.

In the first part of the video, we listen to the interviews and watch a few videos of the artists she claims to be getting inspiration from (Fela Kuti, The Stylistics, Lauryn Hill, Stevie Wonder, the Off The Wall Michael Jackson). Then we dig deeper into her passion for Fela Kuti, through the backstage of her L'Officiel photo shoot inspired to the African Queens. The video ends with the complete list of the producers and writers confirmed or rumored to have been working on the album and also features a couple of pics of Beyoncé in the studio with SymbolycOne and Frank Ocean.

Shout out to the members of bwboard who provided me the list of the producers and to femalevocallover1975, who gave me the link to the article where Beyoncé says she was listening to Fela and Miles Davis on the tour bus during her DC days. Thank you guys.

  • I want the next album to be a classic, even though 4 is comes close its not, i want her next album to be the album that people say "this is a classic, this is the perfect album 4 women everywhere" i want it to be the album for women about being a beautiful vibrant creature who is confident, loving, sexy but classy, artistic and always looking for room to grow as a person, also a song about motherhood, i want it to be called "Definition of: Woman" i think Beyoncé is the perfect person to make it

  • @Romeobeyk well, I love 4, it's my favourite album and I really think it's her best to date, it is brave, personal and definitely unique. I know she can ALSO do better than that, because she has immense musical and vocal talent. Of course I love your description of how her next album should be, and I'm sure she'd love it too lol

  • Wait, what about the influences of 'I Was Here'?? Forget it, influences by ryan tedder lmao.

  • @lucazdelion and Diane Warren lol

  • @workitout80 Poor song, a leftover definitely.

  • @lucazdelion well, as you may already know there are worse song than IWH on IASF in my opinion. But it definitely ain't one of the best on 4.

  • @workitout80 oh i LOVE '4' dont get me wrong i play songs from it everyday its definatly my fav to date but i just had that idea, because her albums tell a story and i thought that could be the next chapter is all i was saying because i feel her next album will be a classic and i just wanted to throw my idea out there hoping Bey will see the video and read the comment and get inspired lol

  • a woman is also independent

  • I want the next album to consist of live instruments, RnB, Soul, Jazz(with saxophones and smooth drums) and Rock music with some up-tempo Pop and whatever she wants.... a woman to me is a beautiful vibrant creature who is confident, loving, sexy but classy, artistic, demands respect, always looking for room to grow as a person and a mother, thats why i love Beyoncé and i would love 4 her to make an album like what i just said, i feel it could be the classic she wants, "Definition of: Woman"

  • @workitout80 haha, IWH would be a good song THERE, but 4 has other level of musicality, so this song doesn't fit. The vocals are interesting, Beyoncé exploring three different tones but the magic ends there. >:
