With an instructor looking on, the 8-year-old boy at a gun fair aimed the Uzi at a pumpkin and pulled the trigger as his dad reached for a camera. He lost control, fatally shooting himself in the head. (Oct. 27)

What does that say to you? A wealthy educated country does not have crime on the level as the US does.

THOSE are our issues. You seem to think being born in America makes you a different person than anywhere else in the world. That we are incapable of being as cultured as Europeans.

@Whisper6911 But I still believe in the right of people to own and use firearms to defend themselves.

Carrying them is a privilege and not a right. You must pass certain tests to obtain a license to do so.

This sheriff did not have the proper license to allow children to fire such a weapon yet he got off somehow. I am not happy about that.

But please dont stereotype America because of the actions of a few. There are 300 million people here. We are not all idiots.
