  • my middle finger is overall drooped down, but its not like the end thats swelling, its the middle part. uggh its bearable pain as long as i dont move the finger, but im freakin out that it may be broken cause its bruised ALL around :(

  • I thought I did this to my middle finger but it does not droop at all. Did I just jam it? It's slightly swollen and hurts a bit but it's bearable.

  • I had this happen to me 3 years ago.could I still fix it :(?

  • @DesertSmeagle yup..... it sucks hope it goes well.. :/ kinda freaked XD my thumb looks so deformed l cant bend it its been like that for 2 years but i know im going to need surgery but just hering the doctor say that im going to be freaked out LOL

  • @retriverlover97 damn that sounds bad haha i guess im lucky. I just tore the tendonon the end of my middle finger

  • @DesertSmeagle do u have a mallet finger too? i have one for 2 years now i was playing football with my brother when it hit straight on my thumb. im going to the doctor tomarrow i went last year and they put it in a splint because my whole ligament that was holding up my thumb was just hainging im freakin out my mom said i need surgery cuzz its been 2 years and it still hurts when i bump it on somthing D:

  • give it 8 weeks of never bending the tip of the finger........ use a splint, no other way to go about it if you dont want surgery. After those 8 weeks, your skin will look and feel weird, but it gets back to normal after a while

  • this happened to me. The tendon was torn jammed while playing dodgeball....at baseball practice haha. They said i might need surgery, is this true? its so weird, because i felt no pain at all when it got jammed by the kickball thrown at me..i didnt even notice until i looked at it, and it still only hurts from the swelling...why?

  • @animal5girl This is really something that needs to be treated with a splint to prevent the injury from becoming permanent. You should see a health care professional to determine proper care. If that really isn't an option check out some of the other mallet finger videos on YouTube. Maybe one of them shows a type of splint you can make yourself since - at the very least - the finger needs to be splinted for an extended period of time like they said in this video. Best of luck!
