@AlexisGuitar94 I TOTALLY agree. the crap that they call music today is just stupid! i wish we still had mama maybelle carter or chet atkins around to show these boys today how its done. the OLDIE GOLDIES are the BEST and nobody can beat them.

You have the wrong iteration of the Carter family. This is the later incarnation from the 50's onward.

I believe it is Sara , Joe and Jeanette Carter or this is "Mother Maybelle and the Carter Sisters", and not "The Carter Family" when they split up in 1943.

This video is Maybelle and her three daughters, not the Carter Family original group from the 30's.
