I created this just for fun along site a brief I was working on for 'Do Video Games Cause Violence?'
I never actually got around to finishing this. As it was just a quick edit from one day.
Basic story line was; A guy continuously playing his game, ignoring his friends, family, girlfriend etc and it begins to effect him. So much so that he ends up buying a gun, and eventually turning on people and so on. As most of this never was filmed, it ended up just being a short little segment on video games and violence.
I actually don't mind it for one days work, as I could have done more with it.

Music; Slipknot - My Plague.
Alexisonfire - Pulmonary Archery.
Created on; Final Cut Pro.

  • @Rose121357 I fully agree..

But in the few blatant cases I've heard of. Only the few fucked up get their ideas from games.

  • yeah so if i play monopoly i will be rich like a boss =D

  • To say that video games have nothing to do with aggression and violence is just ignorance. There is plenty of data to suggest this is true. There are in fact many different variables to consider though. Time of playing, type of game, and mental state of said player.

Players who play for an hour are far less likely to commit an act of aggression or violence then those who play for 3+ hours a day.

This video is a great abstract of this. Its not the games fault, its the player.

  • .!..

  • lols i knew it was going to be a gun(i thought glock) in the box

  • Hi, I'm a high school student from Australia and just yesterday our class had a mental health workshop, where we were informed by a counsillor. Violent videogames came up.

This person was a counsilor for 20 years and disagrees with the idea that there is a link between videogames and real life violence. Not once did she incurr a situation similiar to this. =P
